Heat Induction Liners 

Popular when a seal is required. 

Good for:

  • Pharmaceuticals Goods 

  • Food Goods

  • Liquids 

Made Made of:

  • Pulp 

  • Foam

Types of Heat Induction Liners

HS035 Liner

  • HS035 is an induction seal liner and is used with induction sealing equipment. It has a thin layer of liner material that is electromagnetically activated by the induct sealing machine. 

Works on Both Plastic and Glass containers  

Suggested Product Uses: Dry products, milk, peroxide, fruit juice, glass cleaner, spices and nutraceuticals. 

Not good with: oil or solvents 

May have Sealed for Your Protection (SFYP) written in red or black on the top of the liner. 

 

FS5-8 Liner  

  • FS5-8 is a heat induction foil inner seal which provides a tamper-evident bond. 

Works on Both Plastic and Glass containers  

Suggested Product Uses: liquids, fruit juices, milk, glass cleaner, peroxide, and spices.

Not Good with: Oils

May have Sealed for Your Protection (SFYP) written in red or black on the top of the liner. 

 

FS5-4 Liner

  • FS5-4 is a heat induction foil inner seal with combines ease of removal with tamper-evident properties. 

 Works on Both Plastic and Glass containers  

Suggested Products Uses: dry products, milk, peroxide, fruit juices, glass cleaner, spices and nutraceuticals. 

Not good with: oil and solvents

May have Sealed for Your Protection (SFYP) written in red or black on the top of the liner. 

 

Foam Liners

Are general purpose liners made of polyethylene foam. 

  • Does not create a seal and is used for leak prevention. 

    • It helps to fill up room in the top of the cap. 

    • Works when the neck of the bottle is not high enough to achieve a tight closure.

  • It works with many different substances and is a more economical option 

Good For:

  • General Purpose Products

  • Household Products 

  • Water-based products

 

Pressure Sensitive Liners 

Pressure Sensitive liners are similar to foam liners they have an adhesive on one side and is designed to stick to the rim of the container. Once the container is closed and pressure is added the adhesive is activated. Which creates the seal. 

  • This provides extra protection and creates a seal (but not is considered a tamper evident seal).

Good For:

  • dry products 

  • dry food 

  • Powders

  • thick liquids  

Not Good with: liquids or oils. Sometimes works with thicker liquids like creams and sauces 

 

Types of Pressure Sensitive Liners 

PS22 Liner 

  • PS22 liner is made of .020”thick polystyrene foam disc with an EVA-wax type adhesive that is released when the closure is properly torqued onto the container. 

 Works on Both Plastic and Glass containers

Suggested Product Uses: Dry products, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, candy, and spices

Not Good With: Oil and other liquids 

Tip: Keep away from direct heat or sunlight 

 

Polycone Liner 

Polycone Liners are wedge-shaped insert that seals the lips of the container and is used for leak prevention. These are good when a leak proof seal is needed. 

  • Recommended for glass bottles but it can be used on plastic bottles 

Good For: 

  • Liquids (they are susceptible to evaporation)

  • Essential Oils 

Works best with Glass bottles but can be used for Plastic Bottles
